Mission:
Continue to develop forms of worship and outreach that encourage people of all levels
of faith to feel accepted and welcome. This work includes traditional Sunday worship
twice a month, a monthly ‘Kids Friendly’ service, a monthly combined service with the
local Anglican congregation and occasional ‘café-style’ services. Congregational
members will continue to be encouraged to take leading roles in Sunday worship and to
offer new ideas. Ideas will also be sought from parishioners at large.
Offer pastoral care as required.
Continue to offer the love of God and support through the community groups which use
our buildings.
Increase our involvement with the local primary school.
Continue promotion through the local ‘Rakaia News’ weekly newspaper.
